Position Summary :
Orlando Health is seeking an experienced Improvement System Coach III. The Improvement System Coach III is responsible for the implementation of the Orlando Health Improvement System and reports to the Manager, Improvement System.
The goal of the Orlando Health Improvement System is to achieve sustainable top decile performance in the key performance indicators by developing our team members and physicians to achieve their greatest potential in the pursuit of this goal.

This position will support the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Downtown and in surrounding areas of Central Florida.

Responsibilities : Essential Functions
Essential Functions
Demonstrates and maintains mastery of all aspects of performance improvement including Lean methodologies and strategy deployment.
Confident in multidisciplinary group facilitation of process workshops, value stream mapping and other structured improvement activities.
Develops and implements transformation projects or initiatives for a range of healthcare and clinical program areas.
Performs complex analysis of current / existing processes to support operational efficiencies and the delivery of patient care.
Evaluates and documents the potential impact of proposed organizational operational changes, including presentation and collaboration with hospital executive leadership teams.
Demonstrates self-motivation with exceptional interpersonal communication and group leadership skills including conflict resolution.
Comfortable and effective in presenting to team members in all levels of the organization including various audience sizes.
Leads discussions with all levels of team members and management to update stakeholders in project status, progress and barriers utilizing project management skills and effective communication.
Solves unique and varied business problems that require risk assessment, sound business judgment and change management skills.
Demonstrates professional behavior towards patients, team members, and leaders to promote an environment of team work and collaboration.
Demonstrates effective project management skills and professional accountability.
Coaches team members in Lean principles and leadership skills.
Mentors department team members in onboarding and training.
Models change agent behaviors including honesty, integrity, reliability, and persuasiveness.
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Functions
Provides information in support of business cases necessary for team decisions.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with a heavy focus on excel analysis.

Master’s degree.
A Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Master’s degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the experience section).

Experience
Five (5) years’ experience independently leading improvement projects in a healthcare setting with demonstrable results.
