Job Overview :
We are looking for a seasoned Charge OR Registered Nurse for a travel contract in Atlanta, Georgia. This position is ideal for an RN with solid OR experience who can lead, coordinate, and ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee OR operations, ensuring the efficient flow of procedures
Lead and manage OR teams, scheduling shifts and overseeing training
Ensure patient safety and OR compliance with facility policies
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and post-op teams
Facilitate OR readiness and manage supplies and equipment needs
Requirements :
Active RN License in Georgia or Compact State
3+ years of Operating Room experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or Charge Nurse role
BLS and ACLS required
Knowledge of multiple surgical procedures, including general, ortho, and trauma
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Shift :
5x8s or 4x10s, with flexibility for on-call as required
Rotating weekend or holiday shifts
