Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Stepdown Cardiac - Procedural Care Unit

Shift : Nights / 7p-7 : 30a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, One weekend every 6 weeks. Every other holiday.

Length : 13 weeks

Requirements :

• OH / Compact License
• 1 year of experience at minimum (in similar acuity)
• Large Hospital experience
• ICU, ED, or high acuity intermediate skillset
• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry
• Job : Procedural Care Unit RN
• Shift : Night shift, 7 : 00pm- 7 : 30am. One weekend every 6 weeks. Every other holiday.
• No call or float requirements
• Minimal Requirements :
• 1 year of experience at minimum (in similar acuity)
• Large Hospital experience
• ICU, ED, or high acuity intermediate skillset
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry
• Job Summary : The Procedural Care Unit sees an average of 55 cases daily, offering a fast-paced environment. PCU provides care both before and after procedures for Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular labs.

Procedures include TAVR's, ablations, biopsies, catheterizations and more.

Description : 90% moderate sedation recovery / 10% PACU recovery. PCU is divided into 2 areas : short term stay 6 hours or less recovery / long term stay 6 hours or greater recovery (up to 24).

Travel RN's will get trained in both areas.

Ratio- 3 : 1 for 7a-11pm; 4 : 1 for 11p-7 : 30am
