CAD Drafter

Immediate need for a talented CAD Drafter. This is a 03+ months contract potential to Extension opportunity with long-term potential and is located in PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA (Onsite Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interestednbsp;

Job ID : 24-37913 Pay Range : $36.80 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location Key Responsibilities : Creating detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.

Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.

Incorporating design changes and modifications into existing drawings. Ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.

Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches. Creating 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.

Performing calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings. Organizing and maintaining drawing files and documentation.

Communicating and coordinating with project team members to ensure timely completion of drawings. Providing support during the construction or manufacturing process by clarifying drawings and providing additional information as needed.

CAD Drafters should have a strong understanding of drafting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

They should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience : Key Skills : CAD / GIS Experience MicroStation experience is a MUST 4-5 yrs+, Utility, gas / distribution exp A MUST CAD / GIS Experience Electric distribution background a plus Must have reliable transportation and phone MicroStation experience is a MUST 4-5 yrs+, Utility, gas / distribution exp A MUST, CAD exp 4-5 yrs+ 2 year technical degree or equivalent certification (minimumOur client is a leading Public utility Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
