Heavy Equipment Service Technician

Since Road Machinery has been committed to providing our customers with quality equipment and responsive service. We started out selling street sweepers, motor graders and air compressors from our 7th street, Phoenix, Arizona location.
Road Machinery now operates across Arizona and California including world class re-manufacturing facilities for Diesel Engines, Transmissions, Electrical Rotating Devices and Hydraulic Cylinders.

Essential Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic breakdowns on heavy equipment.
- Create job plan based on diagnosis to include repair operations and anticipated repair hours need to complete repair.
- Prepare inspection, RCFA, troubleshoot and teardown reports.
- Organize, clean, and maintain a safe work area.
- Communicate effectively with Service Planner, and Supervisors to ensure problems, nature of the repair, and status of those repairs are understood and followed up on in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of previous dealership experience.
- 5+ years of experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, diagnostics, and the latest electronically controlled machines.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics
