Position : Special Education Teacher
Location : Greeley, Colorado
About the Role :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.
This role requires a skilled professional who can assess student achievement, manage behavior, and collaborate effectively with other staff members.
Responsibilities :
- Assess student achievement
- Plan and implement instructional and learning strategies and activities
- Manage the behavior of students in the instructional setting to ensure the environment is conducive to the learning process
- Coordinate instructional activities with other staff
- Communicate with parents
- Communicate with students on instructional expectations
- Maintain progress reports
- Maintain assessment and evaluation documentation
Qualifications :
- CO Special Education License required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
Details :
- 2024 / 2025 School Year
- Full Time with 37.5 hours
- Weekly pay with a competitive pay package
