Job Description : We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year.
As a Virtual SLP, you will provide teletherapy services to students in California, delivering high-quality speech and language interventions through our online platform.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and innovative technology.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in academic and social settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid California license or eligibility for licensure in California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an SLP, preferably in a school setting.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse student populations.
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace for virtual sessions.
