Job Summary

The Business Intelligence Data Analyst will provide expertise in the use of business intelligence tools to increase effectiveness, forecast business outcomes, and develop analytics and reporting capabilities to inform strategic and tactical business decisions.

The incumbent will be instrumental in the implementation of Dynamics 365 Online, as well as transforming data into Power BI insights that drive business value.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and maintains scalable business intelligence solutions within Microsoft Power BI (Power BI). Leads the transformation of data into Power BI insights.

Provides support and training to users on the use of Dynamics 365, Power BI and data interpretation.

• Provides expertise in the use of business intelligence (BI) tools to increase effectiveness and forecast business outcomes.
• Performs complex data research and utilizes predictive analytics to inform business operations and strategic planning.

Leads and partners in the development of reporting capabilities.

• Leads the implementation of Dynamics 365 Online; ensures data accuracy and integrity within Dynamics 365 and related data sources.
• Identifies, examines, and deciphers trends or patterns. Prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations.
• Determines business requirements that fit / don’t fit within a proposed solution; resolves complex problems and develops best fit recommendations for solving process and systems gaps.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven reports and dashboards.
• Develops and enhances the data warehouse; oversees back-end transaction / data processing.
• Investigates and resolves incidents related to applications, reports and data sources.
• Provides detailed estimates for schedule, and labor.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; eight years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience in a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of business analytics principles and practices in Power BI.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise.
• Experience working with relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experienced with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Skilled and experienced with analytics and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with full lifecycle enterprise projects and Marketing Automation solutions.
• Certification or hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise.
• Certification or hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Must have a background which would not preclude a security clearance granted.
