Role Profile :
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong background in Instrument & Control, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and a thorough understanding of electrical design concepts, IEC, and National standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrument & Control, Electronic, Electrical Engineering / Technology desirable.
- Prior training or experience (e.g., military electronics training) may be credited toward the education requirement at the discretion of HIMA.
- Applicants must reside within the Greater Houston area.
- 5 - 10 years of experience in an approved field (i.e., Safety PLC) is required.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, Electrical design concepts, and understanding of IEC and National standards.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical design concepts.
- Proficiency in Windows-based software products, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Project.
- CAD knowledge is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Solid analytical and technical skills.
- Outstanding relationship-building capabilities.
