- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity.- Partner with patients and significant others using suitable methods for effective communication and care planning.
- Perform the Nursing Process, incorporating assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care.
- Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe and high-quality patient care.- Participate in and support performance improvement activities.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses to help build a qualified workforce.- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement.
- Uphold all healthcare system policies, standards, and professional associations' legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- Engage in data collection and use evidence to address clinical practice questions.- Plan proactively for patient care across the care continuum and collaborate with other healthcare team members to achieve best practice outcomes.
- Support efficient use of human and material resources.- Perform other duties as assigned while complying with all organizational policies and standards.
