FP&A Consultant
About the Opportunity : A life sciences company is seeking a hands-on FP&A Consultant to bring hands-on support, help build out the FP&A function, cash flow forecasting, and ad-hoc finance support.
Duration : Starts ASAP and will run 3 months minimum
Location : San Diego ideally 2-3 days / week onsite
Compensation : $65-75 / HR W2
Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
Scope :
- Support the FP&A function with maintaining the weekly cash flow forecast, monthly financial reporting, earnings analysis, and budgeting / forecasting
- Own and maintain the manual modeling process
- Support an upcoming reporting software implementation
- Help build out an efficient and effective FP&A function
Qualifications & Expertise :
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar required
- Life Sciences, biotech, or pharma industry experience, required
- 6+ years’ experience in FP&A
- Brings best practices and experience helping establish strong processes and procedures over the FP&A function
- Very strong with Excel including hands-on modeling experience
- Strong with FP&A reporting tools, ideally with prior implementation experience
