Summary :

Calling all Duchesne Academy IT Intern students! You can use what you have learned by working at the school's computer help desk (CAVE).

Interns will be responsible for supporting faculty and staff with technical issues and performing regular maintenance and service of computers and audio / visual equipment.

Pay : $8.75 / hour (or $9.75 or $10.75 depending on experience)

Hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 30 am - 3 : 30 pm

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Assist teachers, technology staff, and director in helpdesk activities.
  • Diagnose and repair laptops.
  • Troubleshoot technology on campus as assigned.
  • Inventory classroom and office equipment.
  • Organize and maintain computer parts and supply closets.
  • Update helpdesk tickets.
  • Answer phone calls and email on behalf of the CAVE.
  • Other duties as assigned by Education Technology Support Manager or Technology Director

Requirements

Minimum Education / Prior Experience / Qualifications Required

  • Able to work Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am to 3 : 30pm in May, June, and July
  • Completed or currently enrolled in Duchesne Academy's Summer IT internship class.

Upon Hire :

  • Successful completion of criminal offender record information and sexual. Offender registry information checks (18 years or older).
  • Current Safe Environment training (18 years or older).

  • Comply with the policies and procedures as articulated in the faculty and staff handbook.
  • Authentically engage in the school's self-reflection process that requires written goals and measured progress towards them.
