Maintenance Technician

Pennington Seed is searching for a Maintenance Technician for our Greenfield, Missouri location.  This position requires qualified candidates to be safety conscious and able to perform required functions in a productive manner, working with tight schedules and deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains the following equipment : All bag line equipment, augers, legs, mixers, seed and grain cleaning and conveying equipment.
• All pesticide impregnating equipment / pumps.
• Services of front- end loaders, forklifts, air compressors and pneumatic valves.
• Pre-shift inspections on all machines.
• Maintain the Filters on Dust Collection System.
• Issues written purchase requests for all the parts and maintenance supplies.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, lube and construction activities as needed throughout the facility.
• Understanding of the department budget.
