The primary role of the IR - Sales Manager is to lead a team of high-energy salespeople in a dynamic, evolving, fast-paced environment, and continuing business development for the IR division.
The IR - Sales Manager is also responsible for team growth and career development. Location : Norfolk, VA ColonialWebb office is the base for the position Sign on Bonus and Relocation Assistance available for the ideal candidate.
Position Summary :
Territory : Eastern region and as far as out west
Travel : 25% expected, as needed to visit customer facilities; All travel expenses hotel, flights, rental car, and meal expenses covered

What you will do :
- Create winning sales strategies, accurate estimates, and persuasive proposals that will grow our business in the Hampton Roads market
- Develop the strategy to best position how and where we go to market as well as cultivate existing accounts.
- Enhance our brand in the region and direct marketing platforms that deliver the best penetration and reach
- Influence owners, executives, property managers, and other decision makers, drive customer retention, and build lasting win / win relationships
What we are looking for :
- 15+ years of Industrial Refrigeration sales experience, including a successful track record of hunting, farming, closing, and managing accounts
- 5+ years in sales management, leading high performing sales teams
- Associates or Bachelors degree
- Industry certifications are preferred (i.e., Certified Energy Manager, EPA, LEED accreditation)
- Ability to work in an aggressive, fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent administrative and analytical skills
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software systems
- Knowledge and ability to teach formal sales processes, such as the *Sandler Selling System*
- Skilled in developing commercial HVAC maintenance estimates
- Strong sales and marketing knowledge, including, but not limited to business development, acquisition, closing, account management, and pull through farming
- Sophisticated networker and member of applicable industry associations
- Skillful listener, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated skills, experience, and proficiency with MS Office, CRM systems, and inernet use
- Client management skills; ability to manage customer relationships, perceptions and expectations
