Survey Department Manager

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with the ability to be licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota
• 5+ years of experience in land surveying, with expert technical skills and knowledge of survey methods in the area
• Must have experience in recruiting and hiring new staff, as well as managing a team of Surveyors
• Gather field survey data to determine precise location and measurement of points, elevations, contours, etc., using conventional surveying and GPS methods
• Write legal descriptions, draft certificates of survey, and provide guidance to junior staff on corner records
• Research and gather data for projects, set up surveys for field crews, and educate crew chiefs
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced survey personnel
• Perform quality reviews for other land surveyors and develop / improve processes, survey tools, and technology implementation
• Attend design review meetings, interact with clients, and ensure schedules and productivity objectives are achieved

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits : This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance (80% company paid), disability and life insurance (100% company paid), PTO and holiday pay, HSA account, and a 401K plan with profit sharing.
