Position : Senior Director Software Engineering

Job Location : NewRez LLC, Coppell, Texas

Job Duties :

Be involved in system analysis, design, and development of small, medium, and large programming systems. Participate in close group discussions with senior management to provide ideas to enhance the applications.

Be capable of analyzing, designing, and developing complex programming systems independently. Lead teams to deliver net new initiatives, modify existing features, fix defects, and mentor / guide teams to deliver solutions on a timely manner with emphasis on quality and scalability.

Keep abreast of technological changes and innovations in the information systems field. Develop solution options for system requirements.

Define and execute software design, development, and quality standards; control and improve operations by conducting analysis and recommending changes in processes, policies, and procedures.

Supervise Principal Software Engineers, Sr Software Engineers, and Sr Software Quality Assurance Analysts, who write, edit, and debug computer programs for assigned projects and / or maintenance items.

• In connection with above duties, utilize experience in designing solutions for specific business requirements; working with team members to deliver user stories in bug free manner;
• leading multiple teams and team members by helping them individually and also as a team to solution projects and deliver projects on time while meeting the right coding and architectural standards;
• assessing complex technical challenges; defining, implementing, and delivering the solutions; defining practices, processes and outputs for solution architecture and design;
• applying knowledge of application architecture principles and standards; defining and executing software design, development, and quality standards controls;

improving operations by conducting analysis and recommending changes in processes, policies, and procedures; and legacy systems, including how their architecture is designed and technologies used to design the applications.
