Job Details
Our company, a leading innovator in the business management technology industry, is seeking a Permanent Director of Product Management.
This role offers the unique opportunity to lead and shape the future of our product portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing 5 Product Managers across two established, profitable b2b SaaS products that continue to evolve in a competitive, rapidly changing market.
The goal is to continue leading and not giving up market share, while maximizing efficiency and providing new business value to the franchise business owners using these tools.
Responsibilities :
1. Define and implement product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new products and enhancements, working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support.
3. Understand customer needs and market trends, and translate them into product requirements.
4. Drive the product development process, including conceptualization, design, development, testing, and launch.
5. Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies and drive product adoption.
6. Measure and analyze product performance and customer feedback to inform product improvements.
7. Communicate product strategy and progress to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and customers.
8. Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management in the technology industry, with a demonstrated history of managing successful product launches.
3. Strong leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple direct reporting PMs.
4. Deep understanding of the technology market and customer needs.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
7. Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, fostering innovation and excellence.
8. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
