Job Title : Civil Engineering Project Manager Position Overview : System One is working with a local client in the Tulsa Metro who is seeking a versatile and proactive Civil Engineering Project Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who is eager to contribute to the expansion of the firm through both technical excellence and strategic business development. As a Civil Engineering Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while effectively managing engineering projects from inception to completion. Your ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams will be essential in delivering high-quality work that meets our client's needs. Key Responsibilities : Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, client engagement, and market research to drive company growth. Proposal Preparation : Prepare compelling proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new projects while showcasing the firm's capabilities. Project Management : Oversee and manage multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Engineering Excellence : Perform key engineering tasks including design, analysis, and technical problem-solving to ensure project success. Team Leadership : Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and consultants, to foster collaboration and efficiency. Client Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and satisfaction. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Project Performance Monitoring : Track project performance metrics, budget adherence, and deliverables, providing regular updates to company leadership. Strategic Input : Contribute to shaping company strategies and operational improvements to enhance growth and service delivery. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s (B.S.) or Master’s (M.S.) degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of both project execution and business development. Licensure : Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain one. Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
