- IV Medicated gtts
- Tracheostomy experience
- Ventilator, bipap, cpcp, high flow oxygen delivery devices
- Unit performs their own phlebotomy and IV sticks
- Preferred Skillset / Experience :
- NIHSS cert recommended
- ICU / Critical Care experience recommended

- Personality Fit :
- Personality fit for MPCU includes the ability to care for chronic trach / vend dependent patients, neuro-surgical patients, noncomplicated back surgeries, VP shunts, and stable subdural hematoma patients.
Other patient populations include post-drips, GI bleed, ETOH withdrawal, suicidal and behavioral / substance abuse patients.
Renal dialysis patients, emergent situations requiring assisting with intubations of unstable patients (which will move to a higher level of care.
Other unit procedures include chest tube placement, IV insertion, blood transfusions, and bedside bronchoscopy.
