We are actively seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Redwood City, CA, for the 2023 / 2024 school year.
The successful candidate will primarily work with a high school caseload, providing counseling services to support the social and emotional well-being of students.
Responsibilities Include :
- Counseling : Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address the social and emotional needs of high school students.
- Crisis Intervention : Provide support during crisis situations and participate in crisis intervention planning.
- Collaboration : Work closely with school staff, parents, and community resources to support students' overall well-being.
- Advocacy : Advocate for the social and emotional needs of students and contribute to the development of individualized support plans.
- Bilingual Support : Preferably bilingual (English / Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse student population.
Qualifications :
- Education : Master's degree in Social Work.
- License : Valid California license as a School Social Worker.
- Experience : Previous experience working in a school setting or with high school students is preferred.
- Bilingual Skills : Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Communication : Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
