Outside Sales Representative Responsible for Long Island - Yonkers, NY
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and managing relationships with existing customers within an assigned territory.
This role will focus on selling a wide range of products, including welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, hands-on experience, or sales experience in the industry, and a proven ability to manage customer relationships using CRM software.
Requirements
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry.
- Knowledge of Products : Strong understanding of automotive repair equipment, particularly welders, frame racks, lifts, rivet guns, and ADAS systems.
- Sales Skills : Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Technical Understanding : Ability to explain complex technical products and solutions to a non-technical audience.
- CRM Experience : Proficiency in using CRM software to manage leads, sales activities, and customer relationships.
- Communication : Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-Motivated : Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and time management.
- Travel : Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory to meet with customers, as well as occasional travel for trade shows and industry events.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience selling automotive repair equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong network and relationships within the automotive repair industry.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and trends related to ADAS calibration systems.
