We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist / Collections in the Wholesale Distribution - Non-Durable industry, located in Woodinville, Washington, United States.
As part of our team, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to accounts receivable and collections.
Responsibilities :
- Maintaining accurate records of customer credit information.
- Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions when necessary.
- Resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts.
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various tasks such as data entry and analysis.
- Handling collections tasks, including contacting customers and arranging payment plans.
- Regularly updating customer accounts based on payments received or adjustments made.
- Collaborating with the sales and customer service departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded in accordance with company policies.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the company's data privacy rules.
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution industry is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial regulations
- Strong customer service skills to resolve payment disputes
- Ability to understand and apply accounting principles
- Experience with financial software systems is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is desirable
- Willingness to continue learning and improving skills in financial analysis and accounting
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
