Apex Systems is seeking Financial Analyst for one of our largest Healthcare clients in California. This individual will perform accounting, reporting and financial analysis as assigned for the enterprise.
This role is responsible for complex and multifunctional areas of accounting, maintaining proper accounting and financial control through reconciliations and analytical analysis related to assigned functional areas.
Actively participate and ensure timely and accurate financial statement reporting for Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), tax and other regulatory reporting.
Conduct independent accounting-based research and complex analytical projects. Develop and maintain working relationships with operational departments and external vendors.
May supervise accounting staff. Supports the budget process. If assigned to work on federal contracts, this role may be required to undergo and pass a security background clearance per federal government regulations Additional Job Details Participates in and implements monthly financial close, prepare and supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, construction-in-process (CIP), fixed assets and leases.
Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly management financial reporting package, regulatory reporting and / or executive summary schedules.
Contract Duration : 4 Months
Years of experience : 2- 4 w / proficiency in excel to include macros to prepare monthly financial reports, Flash fill, advanced filter, and be able to analyze data to inform decisions to optimize the department financial resources.
Additional Job Details
Hybrid- onsite 2-4 times a month.
Required Level of Education and Preferred Level of Education : High School and or some College with at least 2-4 years of experience or a bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.

Expected Shift : 8 am 5 pm (can vary)
