Job Description :

Responsible for performing data management, complex analysis, and modeling that maximizes profits and asset growth and minimizes credit and operating losses and other risk exposures.

Provides data / IM, analytical support on various product strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of databases, performance reports for senior mgt.

Manages the review and analysis of trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. Directs the development of more complex databases, program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modeling.

Oversees the data design, analysis of portfolio trends, concerning credit score cutoffs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria.

Integrates the analysis team with other corporate units to insure alignment of analysis with business strategies and objectives.

Responsible for hiring and training Risk Analysis Specialist and Risk Analysis Analyst. PhD, Master's degree, or large data experience preferred;

Programming experience like SQL, SAS preferred; 7+ years experience.

Senior Data Analyst (Band 4)

Job Description :

The Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) Analytics team is part of the Data, Infrastructure & Strategic Initiatives organization that provides foundational capabilities for EIT, which is the center of excellence that conducts independent testing globally across the company.

EIT has established itself as the enterprise utility to test all end-to-end processes on behalf of Second Line of Defense, Frontline Units (FLUs) and Control Functions (CFs), enabling more efficient and effective testing.

EIT is transforming the way testing is built and executed with digital transformation, implementing automation and leveraging cutting edge Artificial Intelligence / Natural Language Processing technologies.

EIT carries a portfolio of 8,000+ tests and has a global footprint of testing professionals across the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as Global Business Services (GBS) associates.

EIT Analytics is responsible for partnering with stakeholders to identify data and reporting needs, leverage insight and capabilities to simplify data structure and reporting, delivering an improved experience while increasing focus on risk management.

Role Overview :

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for providing data and analysis needed to inform key decisions and action needed to address risk across the Bank.

This role will require close partnership with key stakeholders to obtain a deep understanding of their processes, technology infrastructure, including underlying data and controls to ensure accuracy and validity of information.

As a Senior Data Analyst in EIT, main responsibilities will include :

  • Turning data into insights to tell a story; present large amounts of data in a visually insightful way that can be easily digested by an executive audience.
  • Compiling and organizing data regarding issues or business processes needing improvement
  • Transforming large datasets to identify patterns and summarize insights to identify strengths and weaknesses.
  • Designing & developing analytics models, algorithms and analysis
  • Collaboration with key stakeholders and SLT to understand business needs.
  • Delivery of data needs at various levels of end users.

Required Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degrees or above in fields including but not limited to : Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Process and Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Accounting, Business Administration
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Transforming large datasets to identify patterns and summarize insights.
  • Ability to turn data into insights to tell a story; present large amounts of data in a visually insightful way that can be easily digested by an executive audience.
  • Experience with large number of different data storage solutions and understanding of efficient usage.

Desired Skills :
