We are seeking a Mid Level Water / Wastewater Engineer to help to help execute municipal water and wastewater projects for our Texas clients.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, schedules, and conducts engineering work on projects of various sizes
  • Performing engineering work in process design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including engineering services and construction management
  • Responsible for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
  • Works on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepares cost estimates for various water projects
  • Prepares technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase on the projects.
  • Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 6-12 years of water / wastewater project experience
  • Experience includes water treatment facilities, water transmission / distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas or the ability to obtain within six months
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
  • Must have demonstrated experience in the design and construction phase of small, medium, and large sized water and / or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage project teams
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Ability to deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering
  • Design and construction phase experience
