Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Brooklyn, NY
Job Type- Full time
Schedule - Saturday and Sunday
Time slots : 2 : 00 pm to 10 : 00; 4 : 00 pm to 11 : 00 OR 12-hour swing shifts
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provides medical care to ACS adolescents keeping safety & security measures paramount.
- Takes relevant patient history.
- Identifies patient needs and makes diagnoses.
- Develops and implements treatment plans using diagnostic data.
- Performs complete well-care examinations including physical examinations.
- Performs complete gynecological histories and physical examinations as indicated.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in the following practice areas : Acute Care, College Health, Community Health, Family Health, Holistic Care, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, School Health, and / or Women's Health.
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Must be licensed and registered as a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) to practice as a PA or NP in New York.
Preferred : Fluent in English and Spanish
