Accounts Payable Clerk
Seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Clerk with 2-3 years of experience to join our team at Staffmark. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who excels in financial accuracy and organizational support.
Pay : $24-$27 per hour
Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Job Responsibilities :
- Process business transactions and manage invoices to maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Provide clerical support to ensure timely payment obligations are met.
- Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables and ensure the accuracy of financial documents for payment, auditing, and tax purposes.
- Prevent unintentional overpayments and efficiently monitor vendor payments.
- Resolve discrepancies in invoice items, prices, or receiving signatures promptly.
- Compile and review invoices to facilitate timely and accurate payments.
- Organize and maintain records of vouchers, invoices, and correspondence essential for proper filing.
- Generate periodic reports and other necessary records as per company requirements.
- Verify invoice details against purchase orders to confirm receipt of goods or services prior to processing vendor payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform daily bookkeeping duties to ensure financial accuracy.
