Description :
Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional looking for a rewarding career? Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative I to join our team.
As a PSR I, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by accurately collecting blood samples for laboratory testing.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Interaction : Build strong relationships with patients, creating a trusting and comfortable environment.
- Specimen Collection : Draw blood samples efficiently and safely, following established procedures.
- Data Entry : Accurately record patient information and specimen details.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure the integrity of collected samples and adherence to quality standards.
- Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum 6 months of experience (1+ years preferred)
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
