Position Overview :
As an Associate Attorney specializing in commercial litigation, you will play a pivotal role in representing our clients in a variety of complex legal matters.
We are seeking candidates with demonstrated experience and competency in commercial litigation, particularly in handling cases against large firms.
While experience in plaintiff's personal injury law is not our primary focus, expertise in commercial or class action litigation can be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for and participate in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably with a focus on complex cases.
- Clerkship experience is highly valued.
- Proven competency in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
