About The Position
CT Technologist Job Description :
We're hiring a CT Technologist for our Radiology Department at Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte, South Dakota.
You'll operate Toshiba CT equipment, performing scans on patients during rotating 8-12 hour shifts over a two-week period (80 hours total).
Responsibilities :
- Conduct CT scans using Toshiba equipment with patient safety and comfort in mind.
- Verify patient identities and explain procedures.
- Assist in training department staff on CT procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation protection practices.
- Participate in ongoing education and training on radiation safety.
- Keep the work area clean and report equipment issues.
Requirements :
- Current ARRT Certification for CT.
- Highly proficient in using Toshiba CT equipment.
- Previous CT Technologist experience preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety in the Radiology environment.
- Strong communication and detail-oriented skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Certifications : Must have current and valid ARRT Certification for CT before starting work.
