Swing Shift Registered Nurse

Job Description

Hedrick Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers a unique swing shift schedule and the opportunity to work across multiple units, including House Supervisor, Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and Medical-Surgical / Intermediate (MSI) units.

Position Highlights :

• Schedule : Swing shift - flexibility required to work days or nights depending on departmental needs.
• Coverage Areas : House Supervisor, ED, ICU, and MSI.
• Environment : Collaborative, fast-paced, patient-focused.

Ideal Candidate :

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.

Applicable Experience :

Less than 1 year

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
