JobResponsibilities :
- First point of contact to users on ALM tool relatedtopics i.e. tool usage issue resolution etc.
- Responsible toadministrate QC server license creating new users and creating newprojects.
- Responsible for usage monitoring andreporting.
- Responsible for quality center customizationsupport.
- Work closely with all engineering domains to support onALM tool related topics.
- Support PMT organization to deploy currentand new tool suites to engineering projects.
- Develop trainingmaterial and train users on using the ALM tool per theprocess.
- Develop training material and train team on how tosupport ALM tool for user community.
- Support users bycreating tool related scripting and automation of repetitivetasks.
- Support engineering teams to extract charts anddashboards from the ALM tools.
- Support Configuration Manger Change andProblem Resolution manger to monitor and extract audit reports fromthe ALM tools.
- Pilot new tools perform tests with IT organizationbefore upgrade or new tool roll out.
- Monitoring
- Support multiple projects across differenttime zones.
- Administrative tasks for ApplicationMaintenance
- Microfocus QC / ALM / Octane installation upgrade andenvironment design
- Migration of projects to latest version of theapplication
- New patch implementation
- Validation andverification of the upgraded environment and projects
- Proven verbal andwritten skills to communicate / report both technical andnontechnical audiences.
JobQualifications :
- Bachelors degree or equivalentexperience
- 6 years related experience
- Experience inmanaging licenses creating users and setting upprojects.
- Proficiency in VB scripting and Microfocus QC / ALM OTAAPI.
- Experience with automating repetitive tasks andtoolrelated scripting.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries fordata extraction reporting and customization.
- Experienceintegrating ALM with Micro Focus and thirdparty tools.
- Ability to configuredashboards develop custom reports and create workflowdesigns.
- Experience migrating projects to newer versions of ALMand maintaining ongoing usage.
