Job Title : Diesel Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on off-road and heavy equipment, including forklifts, diesel trucks, mixer trucks, Skytracks, and more.

The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues such as motors, gears, conveyor systems, and hydraulics.

The ideal candidate will also have basic knowledge of Lockout / Tagout (LO / TO) procedures and the ability to troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues, including AC / DC systems up to 480V.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Trenton, Michigan.

Work Environment

You will work inside on diesel engines and motors in a plant that is not climate-controlled. Be prepared for a dirty environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

The position is for 1st shift, from 5am-3pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. You must be open to staying later if needed.

Pay is based on experience and ranges from $25-$35 / hr.
