Summary :
Maintenance technicians will perform general maintenance functions within the manufacturing plant. This includes housekeeping, handling basic repairs, and other general maintenance duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance work on plant equipment as assigned.
- Installation of equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Maintain work areas to housekeeping standards
- Pneumatic system function, maintenance and troubleshooting to include valves, accumulators, cylinders, and pressure switches.
- Keep up with preventative maintenance on industrial air compressors, chillers, HVAC, high-pressure steamers, fixtures and pneumatic cylinders.
- Small scale fabrication projects that include racks, jigs or fixtures
- Wiring of electrical systems a plus
- Machining knowledge and experience a plus
- Welding experience a plus
- PLC troubleshooting experience a plus
Additional Responsibilities
- Follow all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training.
- Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls.
- Report all accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies.

Education and / or Experience
- Minimum maintenance work experience 3 years, post apprenticeship, in an industrial environment.
- High school education; related experience, apprenticeship or technical training, education, or some combination of all three considered a plus.
- Must have experience with mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting (example : Line-up motors, couplings, gearboxes).
Time Management Skills
Possess a deadline driven attitude.
Communication Skills
Have the ability to properly communicate any issues regarding maintenance via in-person or computer.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Possibly obtain a forklift, overhead crane, and scissor lift license.
- OSHA training in power press safety - electrical codes, NEC and NFPA 70
