Join our dynamic Risk & Research Technology team as the Software Engineering Manager, where you will lead our efforts in deploying cutting-edge solutions throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Champion the integration and modernization of our Risk & Research platform with our Advanced Portfolio Management System, ensuring optimal use of contemporary technologies and data analytics.
- Oversee the transition of our systems to cloud-based infrastructure, maximizing the benefits of cloud computing technologies, including MS Azure and Snowflake, to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
- Strategize and oversee the development, execution, and harmonization of our Risk & Research Core Platforms, setting a clear direction for platform evolution.
- Lead a talented team of software engineers in the Risk & Research Core Systems department, emphasizing talent acquisition, team development, and retention.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across technology, operations, and Risk & Research departments to align technological advancements with business objectives.
- Guide the continuous improvement of our software development and operational methodologies, contributing to the strategic planning of product development.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or another relevant quantitative field. A Master's degree in a similar discipline is advantageous.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering within enterprise environments, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Extensive experience within the financial sector, particularly in asset management, with a minimum of 5 years in roles of increasing responsibility.
- Expertise in software development using C#, .NET, Python, SQL, and familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in managing Agile project methodologies effectively.
- A strong track record (2+ years) in leading cloud migration projects, specifically using MS Azure and Snowflake, with a solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Policy as Code (Client) principles.
Desirable Skills
- Project management certifications such as PMP or CAPM are highly regarded.
- Specialized knowledge in Domain Modeling for Investment Systems, with a focus on Fixed Income and Derivatives.
$180k - 200k Salary plus Bonus
