A hospital is seeking inpatient GI locums coverage.

For two weeks each month, the role involves being on general GI call during weekends, handling procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, PEG, flex sig, and enteroscope.

On average, there are eight inpatient cases per day, along with three to four outpatient screening procedures.
