Overview Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Manager, PCS Behavioral Health primary responsibility for the clinical and educational functions of the Ambulatory Behavioral Health nursing clinics and administration of the Behavioral Health Rounding Program (BHRP).

In coordination with both inpatient and outpatient Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, and Nursing teams, sets BHRP objectives and ensures that operations are consistent with objectives.

Plans programs that facilitate the professional development for team members within Ambulatory Behavioral Health clinics.

While maintaining a team approach to the shared responsibilities, functions independently as needed in all aspects of the work area.

Supervises support staff. Collaborates with other work area staff to achieve the goals and objectives of the work area. Maintains skills of the staff to initiate and carry out ethical discourse.

Ensures that all policies / procedures are age and / or developmentally appropriate. Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : 2+ years of recent pediatric behavioral health experience.

Previous supervisory and fiscal management experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of the principles pertaining to the area of responsibility.

Ability to lead others and apply organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully, verbally and in writing.

Education / Licensure / Certification : Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field from an accredited school or Master’s Degree required.

Must have CA RN license, AHA BLS and PALS and National Certification required. Pay Scale Information USD $137,072.00 - USD $246,854.

00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
