Product Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Product Operations professional with a strong technical background to join our team.

The Product Operations Specialist plays a critical role in optimizing product processes, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring seamless product lifecycle management at JLL. This position bridges the gap between product strategy and execution, driving operational excellence across our technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management / Optimization

Partner with operations team to identify inefficiencies, optimize processes, and implement changes to enhance organizational effectiveness

Identify ways to automate workflows and reduce manual effort

Leverage AI to simply complex processes and increase team efficiency

Data Analysis, Insights, and Governance

Establish and manage systems to monitor and report key ROI metrics, delivering regular updates to leadership

Establish and support data governance guidelines and best practices to ensure optimal data quality from technology tools, enhancing overall data integrity and reliability

Generate reports on product usage and business impact

Consolidate data from product management, sales, customer success, and engineering teams to align with Workplace Management technology goals

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Oversee complex projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives. Track milestones, deliverables, and risks, providing regular updates to leadership.

Facilitate communication and manage dependencies between technical and business teams

Create clear process documentation

Expertly define and track change management plans

Present operational metrics to leadership, adapting style and content for maximum. effectiveness

Product Lifecycle

Implement strategies to drive adoption of approved technologies including measurement and tracking of adoption rates to ensure maximum utilization and return on investment

Analyze the technology landscape to identify overlaps, and provide recommendations to streamline and optimize the technology architecture, reducing redundancies and improving efficiency

Gather and synthesize feedback from internal teams and external clients to inform product improvements

Support product launches, feature releases, and operational initiatives while ensuring timelines are deliverables are met

Technical Aptitude

Understand SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS concepts and product operational implications

Understand product and technical documentation (e.g. API, Release, architecture, infrastructure)

Leverage product operations tools (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet, Sharepoint, Service Now, Advanced Excel) to surface insights and track project and product delivery

Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

Troubleshoot and resolve operational bottlenecks

Develop contingency plans for potential product issues

Find innovative ways to meet conflicting requirements

Required Skills

Understanding of complete product lifecycle from development to retirement

Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive product decisions and operational improvements

Expertise in designing, implementing, and refining operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Ability to work effectively across departments, building relationships and ensuring alignment between product, technology, and business teams

Understanding of technical concepts and tools relevant to product development, management, and operations

Understanding of business models and how products contribute to organizational goals

Excellence in written and verbal communication, with strong skills in creating and maintaining clear documentation

Ability to approach complex problems methodically, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions

At least 5 years experience working in a Product Operations or related Operational role

Proactive attitude with a focus on helping teams to deliver value

Passionate about creating efficient product development processes with a focus on delivering value to clients and the business

Estimated compensation for this position :

140,000.00 - 180,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.

Location : On-site -Chicago, IL
