Kettering Health Springfield
The one-story, 42,000-square-foot medical center, located at 2300 N. Limestone St., is expected to open in the spring of 2022.
Available services will include :
- 24 / 7 emergency center including lab and imaging
- Medical offices for primary care and specialty services
- The medical facility will employ approximately 50 full-time positions, and it is expected to cost $20 million to build.
- The new location builds on Kettering Health’s existing services in Springfield, including a primary care office on Middle Urbana Rd.
and a health center on Emmanuel Way that offers imaging services, physical and occupational therapy, primary care, and specialty services.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The Environmental Service Worker I position may include, but is not limited to :
- Follow verbal and written safety guidelines
- Perform required cleaning functions for designated work area
- Document all daily assignments
- Flexibility due to changes in schedule and / or staff shortage
- Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all aspects of the job
- Report any equipment issues to appropriate person or department
- Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner
Requirements :
- 1 year of housekeeping and / or service-related field
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service towards staff and patients
- Able to lift / push / pull 10lbs to 25lbs daily
- Knowledge of electronic devices (computer, tablets,
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand written instructions given in English
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must have the ability to plan, initiate responsibilities and follow through with the minimum direction
- Strong communication skills, attitude, and attendance
