Johnson Service Group, a nationally recognized staffing firm, is targeting a Direct Hire Field Service Technician for its industrial manufacturing client in Westfield, Indiana.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing power delivery equipment, performing work on transformers, low / medium voltage switchgears, breakers and motor control centers, etc.
Responsibilities :
- Power Delivery experience, performing work on transformers, low / medium voltage switchgears, breakers and motor control centers.
- The incumbent will demonstrate excellence in completing customer reports, timesheets, expenses, safety paperwork, and other daily required tasks on time with high level of professionalism.
- Abide by Health, Safety and Environmental standards to develop and expand technical knowledge of industry standards for electrical distribution equipment and their warranty.
- Protect the company’s capital investments, while contributing to continued development and refinement of all field projects.
- Understand NFPA 70E and be committed to working safely above all else.
- Demonstrate a willingness and tenacity to learn within the industry, focused on safety on site and continued growth of knowledge base.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of experience, or a combination of military experience and hands on work.
Position would require travel by vehicle across the central territory greater than 75% of the time.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
