Position Summary

The Takeoff Specialist supports the preconstruction team by producing precise quantity takeoffs and material calculations that drive accurate cost estimates. This position requires advanced proficiency in AGTEK or AutoCAD Civil 3D, with a strong understanding of site development and earthwork operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed earthwork, grading, and utility takeoffs from civil drawings using AGTEK or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Compile accurate cut / fill, materials, and area reports for estimating purposes.
• Assist the estimating team in bid preparation, cost analysis, and scope alignment.
• Interpret and analyze civil site plans, grading designs, and utility layouts.
• Maintain organized digital takeoff files and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Preconstruction Manager, Estimators, and Project Managers to ensure consistency and accuracy in takeoff deliverables.
• Stay current with industry tools and best practices for digital takeoffs and earthwork modeling.
