Work with other departments to provide client development and cross-marketing opportunities.
Develop strategic alliances with national and regional firms for pursuits in Ohio.
Assist Marketing Director to develop Ohio / Columbus BD plan.
Provide mentorship and guidance to technical staff in Ohio offices.
Assist with recruitment as needed.
Attend Columbus area client events and professional organizations.

Minimum Physical Requirements

Occasionally exposed to light lifting, sitting, and walking. Will perform duties in the field and will be required to access and maneuver around project sites and use a computer.

Capable of traveling to and from projects is required. Ability to use equipment for communication and documentation purposes.

Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.

Desired Education / Licensure

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Desired Skills / Experience

20+ years of experience in related transportation engineering or planning positions working on ODOT or local agency projects.
Experience reaching out to potential clients, coordination and production of proposals, and participation in presentations.
Proven project management experience.
Experience writing grants and preparing funding applications for transportation projects.
Experience mentoring junior engineers and project managers, a plus.
Strong communicator, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality work performance.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently when needed.
