Position Overview :

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in supporting our sales and engineering teams by managing communications and administrative tasks related to new and existing sales.

Responsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing calls and emails, creating contracts and tickets, invoicing, and managing account receivables.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the business group to drive rental revenue growth and margin enhancement by delivering exceptional customer service through clear and efficient communication.
• Enhance the customer journey from initial inquiry through jobsite assessment, proposal delivery, operations handover, equipment delivery, service, renewal, teardown, and return.
• Assist customers in equipment sizing, providing engineered drawings, bills of materials, and pricing recommendations in areas including cooling, heating, dehumidification, and power.
• Provide office-based field support to assess rental project opportunities, applications, and equipment selections as needed.
• Support the Account Manager in quoting, estimating, CRM management, invoicing, order processing, travel arrangements, promotional material preparation, and call support for the external sales team.
• Work with Sales Interns, guiding them in understanding the skills and responsibilities necessary for advancement to a Sales Associate role.
• Assist the Account Manager with all web inquiries and incoming calls, ensuring timely customer follow-up and dispatch. Be available for on-call duties during nights and weekends as needed.
• Gain familiarity with a variety of industry-leading temporary cooling and heating equipment.
• Support Account Managers during job site visits, analyzing and developing engineering solutions tailored to customer applications.
• Understand that this role includes training for potential transition to an Outside Sales Representative position in either an existing or new market.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

• Associate’s degree in a related field or two years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone, in-person, and electronic communication methods.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret written contracts and purchase orders from new or existing customers.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Office Suite
• Willingness to work additional hours during peak seasons or as directed by management.
• Open to travel as necessary.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• A genuine desire to learn and develop in the role.
