Job Description

Location : Denver, CO 80223 OR Minneapolis, MN 55401

Hybrid Tue / Wed / Thurs in office, Mon / Fri work from home. Denver, CO is the strongly preferred office, Minneapolis 2nd choice.

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel / Word / PowerPoint software and have a working knowledge of popular financial management applications
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles
• Experience at large, corporate matrixed organizations
• Any regulated industry experience would be a big plus, helping with regulatory filings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present financial analysis to management

Preferred Qualifications :

• Regulated industry experience is a big plus
• Fortune 500 exp highly desired
• SharePoint experience is a huge plus

Financial Analyst Responsibilities :

• Analyzes and reconciles accounts
• Prepares and annotates variance reports
• Works with operating plans to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets
• Performs research to understand the accounting consequences of alternative approaches
• Responsible for conducting financial analysis projects (e.g. capital versus expense, ROI, resource allocations, budget preparation, etc.

and special statistical studies

• Analyze performance returns for accuracy, communicate and review results with investment professionals
