About the Role
A Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in extracting insights from data to drive informed business decisions at Tate Americas.
This professional will work with data processing software, analyze trends, and present findings to key stakeholders.
What Youll Do
Data Collection and Cleaning :
- Collect data from various sources, including sales numbers, market research, logistics, and other relevant behaviors.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy by filtering and cleaning datasets.
Data Analysis and Visualization :
- Collaborate with management to identify critical metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Create reports, graphs, and infographics to visualize data effectively in Power BI.
Business Decision Support :
- Work closely with executives and other business leaders to provide data-driven recommendations.
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
- Structure large data sets to extract usable information.
Team Collaboration :
- Collaborate with a team of analysts and other associates to process and interpret data.
- Create presentations and reports based on findings and recommendations.
Additional Expectation
Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environment, and product compliance policies and activities;
reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
What Youll Bring
- Relevant Experience : A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis.
- Technical Skills :
o Proficiency in R and SQL query design and implementation.
o Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
o Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
o Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Analytical Mindset : Able to solve complex problems using data-driven approaches.
- Communication Skills : Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
