We are currently hiring an experienced Market Associate to join our team, reporting directly to the Market President.

The candidate will primarily focus on growing existing relationships and building new relationships with attorneys and law firms in their assigned territory (Broward County).

The Market Associate will work closely with Market President on building relationships with law firms and their staff by effectively communicating the services and benefits that CLF / USC provides with the goal of having them recommend and refer their plaintiffs when funding needs arise.

The Market Associate stays engaged throughout the funding process to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while also focusing on exceeding their monthly goals.

Our members must maintain a high level of professionalism with every interaction in support of our vision and values. We offer a competitive compensation package which includes base salary, car allowance, and incentives for funding milestones.

Responsibilities & Duties :

Prospecting and Territory Management 50% of time

  • Utilize tools and resources to research law firms and attorneys within target territory to determine the best action plan for future development.
  • Engage and develop new and existing relationships with attorneys, law firm staff, industry partners, and other referral sources with decision making influence on litigation funding.
  • Oversee outbound initiatives and schedule weekly activities within the designated territory to ensure the achievement of funding goals.
  • Consistently perform the daily activities needed to add new accounts, build relationships, solidify referring partnerships, and produce leads that achieve sales goals.
  • Work closely with Market President to schedule meetings and presentations with new and existing attorneys to educate them on our value proposition, generate qualified opportunities, and ensure a high level of customer experience that works best for the company and its law firm partners.
  • Maintain activities, follow up, and account profiles within our internal sales platform (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
  • Participate in weekly meetings to go over accomplishments and activities.

Marketing, Conference, and Events 30% of time

  • Collaborate with internal departments on strategic solutions to support new business development efforts including lead generation, customer experience, CRM activity.
  • Represent company at conferences and industry events to support existing relationships and acquire new customers.
  • Seek opportunities to deliver lunch and learns and other types of events at law firms to build relationships, promote our image, and educate law firm staff on our funding process.
  • Manage the logistics and successful delivery of these events.
  • Manage sales collateral inventory.

Funding Process Support 20% of time

  • Engage with internal departments to ensure on time approval and high-quality standards are met throughout the litigation funding process.
  • Work closely with law firms to inform them of the approval process and assist with supporting documents when needed.

Other Responsibilities

  • Travel, as required, to meetings, events, and conferences.
  • Promote teamwork within the sales team and internal departments to support a culture of customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skill & Experience Requirements :

  • 1-3 years of proven outside sales experience in B2B setting.
  • Track record of consistently achieving sales targets, generating new business opportunities, building strong partnerships, overcoming objections, and driving all phases of the sales process.
  • Advanced business acumen and strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office software and sales management system, experience with Microsoft CRM preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Legal experience a plus.
