Responsibilities :
- Leadconstruction engineering team and manage all Michigan constructionengineeringactivities
- Manage / administerMDOT and / or local agency road and bridge constructionprojects
- Organize / coordinateprojectmeetings
- Recruit / mentorconstruction inspection and project administrationstaff
- Dailyoversight of construction engineering team (assign tasks reviewwork product and prepare performanceappraisals)
- Providetechnical resolutions to complex and contractual project relatedissues
- Assistsenior management with businessdevelopment
- Develop / monitorproject budgets and report updates to seniormanagement
- Monitorsub consultant progress / performance including reviewing andapproving vendorinvoices
Requirements :
- B.S.Degree in CivilEngineering
- P.E.license
- 6years of MDOT construction project managementexperience
- Knowledgeof MDOT project administration and documentationrequirements
- Experiencesupervising construction inspection / administrativeteams
- Proficientin the use of Field Manager and ProjectWisesoftware
- Proficientin MS Officesoftware
Salaryis commensurate withexperience.
