Responsibilities

As the Permanent Director of Engineering, you will be tasked with leading our highly skilled engineering team and guiding them towards maximum performance.

You will oversee all aspects of our engineering operations, including software development, project management, and product quality assurance.

Key responsibilities include :

1. Leading the engineering team in the development and implementation of our technology strategy.

2. Driving the execution of all product lifecycle processes, including product research, market analysis, and product development.

3. Collaborating with the product management team to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.

4. Overseeing the management of all technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

5. Providing technical leadership and support to the team, including mentoring and coaching engineers.

6. Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior engineering role, with a proven track record of leading a team to success.

3. Strong knowledge of modern technologies and platforms, including Kubernetes, Node, React, and TypeScript.

4. Extensive experience in solutions engineering and product development.

5. Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and creatively.

7. Solid understanding of financial management and performance metrics.

8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

10. Proven ability to drive continuous improvement efforts, manage change, and instill a culture of high performance and continuous innovation.
