Responsible for supporting and maintaining the upkeep and grounds maintenance of the location.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform landscaping activities by operating various pieces of equipment, including mowers, chippers, root pruners, edger’s, weed eaters, blowers and other landscaping tools.
- Manually removing weeding, flower beds, sand bunkers and applying herbicides, fertilizer, and mulch.
- Plant and trim shrubs, trees, raking bunkers and flowers and maintain athletic fields.
- Preforming other duties as needed to maintain landscape to standards and MDC Safety standards.
Qualifications :
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform duties assigned.
- Must be able to pass a physical examination prior to being employed.
- Must be able to operate lawn equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, and edger’s.
- Must report to work in a clean, plain solid shirt or t-shirt, long slacks, and closed toe shoes such as leather sneakers.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be capable of working in outside conditions during inclement weather.
- Must be a legal resident of the United States.
- Must be able to satisfactorily perform all of the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
