Emily Krous with Robert Half is seeking a Financial Analyst to join her clients team based in Sacramento, California. The Financial Analyst will be a crucial part of our organization, focusing on finance and sales reporting as well as managing contracts of the sales group.
This is a senior level role and requires 5-10 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
- Undertake leadership responsibilities within the organization, contributing to strategic decision-making processes
- Manage and execute finance-related tasks, including the reconciliation of sales and commissions
- Develop comprehensive sales reports for various groups and leadership, as well as ad hoc reports as required
- Validate the accuracy of sales and commissions attributed to the organization
- Calculate and distribute monthly commissions to sales groups
- Construct future business models, perform what-if scenarios, and prepare business plans as needed
- Employ data mining techniques to extract valuable information for decision-making
- Perform auditing tasks and manage budget processes as part of accounting functions
- Engage in capital management and ensure adherence to accrual accounting principles.
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the financial sector
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of data and convert it into meaningful analysis
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
